Sophie Tay

Sophie Tay brings with her a strong background in the banking industry, where she trained and built highly motivated trading and sales teams focused on achieving revenue goals and expanding the client base. A former Chief Dealer and later Head of the Money Market in a foreign bank, Sophie has firsthand experience of what it takes to motivate and be successful in relationship management and leadership in a stressful and results-oriented environment.

Sophie is a credentialed ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) and a certified counsellor. She holds a Master of Social Science in Professional Counselling from Swinburne University, Melbourne, and a Master in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Sydney. In addition, she also holds an Advanced Certificate for Training and Assessment (ACTA), and a certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Time Line Therapy; accredited to use the MBTI personality profile and to train using the DiSC Dimensions of Behaviour.

Sophie has facilitated and coached senior leadership teams and individuals in MNCs, and her facilitation and coaching approach is creating an inclusive and participatory environment where clients feel valued, heard, and empowered to contribute. Her facilitation style is interactive, experiential, and tailored to meet the specific objectives of each workshop. She employs a variety of proven facilitation techniques, such as group discussions, experiential activities, and reflective exercises, to foster deep learning and actionable insights.
